About EOE’s founder, Elisa

Elisa discovered electrolysis through her mother, who, well into her 80s, was still chasing stray hairs with a magnifying mirror and tweezers.
“After just one electrolysis appointment,” she said, “those tweezers vanished from the coffee table for good.”
Inspired by the transformation she witnessed, Elisa built a friendship and mentorship with her mother’s technician, eventually finding her calling in the field.
Before founding EOE, Elisa led an eclectic, global life. With backgrounds in psychology, sociology, massage therapy, and independent mortgage brokerage, she later spent over two decades living and working on nearly every continent. Her roles ranged from social work in India to yoga instruction and high-altitude mountaineering.
“No matter where I was,” she said, “mentorship was always at the heart of what I did.”
Electrolysis became her next step. A grounded, skill-based practice where she could connect deeply with clients and offer something lasting.
It’s not just about zapping follicles,” Elisa says. “It’s about walking alongside someone on their journey toward confidence.”
