What is Electrolysis?


Electrology is an FDA-approved hair removal method that targets individual hair follicles to permanently stop hair growth. Using a fine, sterile probe, a trained electrologist delivers a low-level electric current directly into the follicle beneath the skin’s surface. This controlled current generates heat, effectively destroying the hair growth cells and root. As a result, existing hair falls out, and future growth is prevented.

How does Electrolysis work?


An electrolysis treatment begins with the insertion of a tiny probe into your hair follicle (a natural opening in the skin). A small amount of current is delivered to the base of the hair, cutting off the blood supply so that the follicle can no longer produce hair. The treated hair releases and is removed with tweezers. This process is repeated hair-by-hair until the desired area is cleared.

“It’s a subtle nod to one of my favorite face yoga practices, articulating the vowels E and O,” Elisa said. “If you say them slowly, you’ll feel your face lift and release. I do it during breathwork while I walk—it’s simple but powerful.”

At its core, EOE is about more than hair removal. It’s about mentorship, empowerment, and joy. “You’re not alone in your hair journey,” Elisa says. “We’re here to support you in reclaiming your confidence—one follicle at a time.”
